Very professional from day one until finish sanded my windowsills and all wood work painted two bedrooms passage and living room,the radiators which look like new. Totally brightened our whole home. Would highly recommend them to anyone. 😁 we are very happy customers thanks again. Not a spot of paint on the floors anywhere, we didn’t have to move anything for them,the guys did it all always very prompt to which makes a big difference.

The young team working on it were highly knowledgeable, meticulous in tidying as they went,great with suggestions and incredibly helpful - due to ill health we were struggling with rehanging paintings/ moving furniture etc and they took care of it all. Most important of all they did a brilliant job - not just painting, but filling in some of the small dints etc in the wall and making the worn cornices look good as new. Would highly recommend.

They were very respectful of my property and kept working and access areas clean and free of rubbish or dust. They were polite, friendly and responsive to any questions or comments. Samantha Cooper2025-08-27We are new to the area and soon after buying our Victorian Terrace we decided to do a full house renovation. We had no idea what we were doing and who was going to do it … but then out on a walk one day we saw a Tynemouth Decorators Board outside a property in Cullercoats … and the rest as they say is history!! Steve came to see us almost a year before he actually started work. He was the only person we approached as we knew immediately that he was the man for the job and he was absolutely that!! Steve kept in constant touch for the duration of our project, calling in on occasions to check on the progress. He was always on the end of the phone to offer help and advice even on non decorating topics. As Steve has worked on many Victorian properties similar to ours, he not only has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the decorating aspect, but he also knows so many other local professionals who joined our team. As the start date for painting approached, Steve took time to help us with colour choices and was very supportive and open minded when we requested we use a paint brand he had never worked with before - he took the time to research it and thankfully he and his team enjoyed using it and it produced a stunning finish. Which brings us on to the Tynemouth Decorating Team ... It was so refreshing to see a team of young people work with such pride, care and attention to detail. They worked immaculately. Everything was always tidy, whatever time of the day and whatever they were doing. The time and care spent on the preparation and painting was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble and there were plenty of time consuming, fiddly jobs that had to be done along with last minute working around other professions to accommodate. Callum was in charge of our project and we cannot thank him enough for his kind, caring, patient and professional approach. On the occasions we called in Callum always found time to walk through the work and talk to us about what what been done and what was happening next. He always found time to answer our many questions and offer reassurance. Steve, Callum and the rest of the team have transformed our home into something beautiful. We’re hoping they’ll be back next Spring to sort out our front exterior paint work. If you’ve read to the end of this review, we can confidently say that you would not be disappointed in their work and we would highly recommend Tynemouth Decorators.
